I'm a user experience designer born and raised in the fields of Iowa. I take what I've learned through my background in architecture and project management and apply that knowledge to help shape tomorrow's technology. I'm a maker and design generalist but my interests are heavily focused on research, synthesis, content strategy, and visual design.

I have been making and designing things for as long as I can remember. Receiving my B. Arch degree from Iowa State University, I began to pursue my dream of designing for and around people. Afterward, I put my skills to use for a good cause, working for Habitat for Humanity, where I led groups of volunteers to build affordable homes. This led to work with a creative agency focused on the architecture industry managing projects from CG renderings to iOS mobile apps. I learned skills quickly in the small company managing and producing many different types of projects all at once.

This has led to where I am now. User experience design allows me to leverage many of my skills in ways that I could not have imagined before. From user-centered problem solving and content strategy to stunning visuals and intuitive experiences, UX is an opportunity to have a much wider and accessible reach as a designer.

If you're interested in working with me, going for a bike ride or grabbing a cup of coffee feel free to shoot me a message.
